Under section 80C(2)(xviii)(d) your stamp duty charges are deductible...if you purchase a residential house property. Under the same subsection you can claim deduction for purchase or construction of your house property. If you are selling your old house property and purchasing another house property and you have capital gains the same can be deducted under section 54.
