SRN Status - Pending for approval under regulation 17(6)

14 July 2009 Fact :

Company filed the Form 25C sometime in the year 2006.

Company did not verify the SRN Status of the form filed. Now, ROC sent e-mail message indicating the SRN Status - 'Pending for approval under regulation 17(6)'.

What should the company do now ?

Whether the company should physically file any clarificatory letter or

What is the mode of communicating to ROC (whether Form 62 applies in this case)?

14 July 2009 You may contact the concerned ROC office and understand the specific reason as to why the form has been pending for approval since such a long time. In case the earler form is pending due to non-submission of adequate information, then you may furnish the same by way of filing an addendum on the same SRN or else if the form is pending for some other reason, then take help from the ROC for solving the query.

If you know the reason, then file the clarifactory letter on-line and submit a physical copy with the on-line challan.
