Speculation Business?

A company is dealing in trading of shares. It is also simultaneously doing transactions in F & O (Speculation). My query is whether both the business will be considered seperate i.e. one of normal business of share trading & other of Speculation. If yes then i believe the loss from F & O shall not be allowed to be set off against the normal business. Is this view correct?

If the primary business of the company is trading in shares and fno...its a normal business income/loss.
