11 May 2011 Dear Experts,

I have got an interview call for the post of finance manager in a software company having around 20 clients including international clients.

I have got no exposure to the software field . Can you please suggest me which all the areas which I should learn to attend the interview confidently.

And if you have any experiece/exposure in software companies kindly let me know some peculiarities of the same.

12 May 2011 I think, you should learn revenue recognition, conversion into US GAAP / IFRS accounts and project allocation of expenses.
