09 March 2011 In a slum sale a machinery has been transfer on 31-12-2007 having WDV on 31-03-2007 was Rs 2,00,000/-.

Now my question is what is the WDV of the machinery for the purpose of slump sale?

10 March 2011 The slump sale provisions are vis-a vis the seller. The buyer, in order to get the depreciation, must opt for the WDV as shown in the books of seller.
