Please let me know whether its compulsory for CA students to do SIP program and computer exam while doing CS.

05 June 2012 every candidate registered for the executive programme wef 01.09.2009 are compulsorily required to undergo seven days student induction programme (SIP)within 6 month of registration.

exemption from undergoing SIP
****************************:-
CANDIDATES POSSESSING PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION e.g. CA,CWA,LLB,VE/B.TECH/B.ARCH./MBBS, POSTGRADUATE DEGREE / DIPLOMA IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION , MCA or any other qualification as approved by council from time to time.

Students seeking exemption may apply within 6 month from the date of registration in the executive programme.

A student shall be exempted from undergong the course on the basis of S/He fulfill the following criteria:

(1) he/she has the requisite knowledge of the areas / topics covered in the computer Training &
(2) he / she enrolls himself /herself for an online exemption test (to be conducted by SIFY Software limited ) at any of the SIFY centre on all india basis and successfully clear the test.
