05 May 2012 hi . i am fresher CA from nov 11 batch . i have been offered a Job opportunity with an NGO as a senior finance officer is it worth taking up d post ! will it affect ma career prospects later as my main interest lies in the banking sector , which requires experience dat curently i dont possess. i am currently goin a diploam course in banking too !! kindly help what shud i do ????

05 May 2012 If you want to go in the Banking Sector, then better try for a job in that sector only.

05 May 2012 but where can dis job get me i mean will it help in sum company or it will lead me frm one ngo to an other ! i mean whud an ngo exposure be taken as gud enough work experience !banking sector i tried but its difficult to get into !!dey ask for experience ! will a bank take dis as gud enough experience ??

06 May 2012 You need not have experience in banking to get a job there. There are various banks offering jobs for freshers also. Just go and try out. A job in NGO is good but not for those who are aspiring a career in banking. Apply for banks and keep on trying. You'll get placed in banking. All the best.
