07 November 2013 Dear sir,
sorry to desurb u , but i need ur help,
one of my freind is a salary earner, having joint account wid his father, he is filing his salary ret. regularly,
but his father is not,,, while his father is senior citizen, having income as rent from house property
he never shows his income,
suddenly he got notice from income tax department for non filing ITR , due to making big transaction in bank
IT Department asking cause for non filing ,,,
what i should suggest him as per your opinion ???
please reply me as early as possible,

11 November 2013 You may send Letter in Writing to Income Tax Department stating that your father is a senior citizen and having Income below Taxable limits of respective Asst. Years, hence not filing his Income Tax Returns.
