Should i opt for cfa ?

I am a first year article at an internal audit firm in Mumbai and my question was
should i opt for CFA?
What opportunities are there for CA+CFA ? Will there be any extra advantage doing CA with CFA?
I am really very confused and seek for help in this case.

10 June 2014 honestly there is not much benefit accruing out of CFA in India. It may help if you wanna go outside india for jobs.

10 June 2014 frankly there is no much scope for ca + cfa in india so think twice before investing time in it.

10 June 2014 because in India, we follow the herd. Indian investment markets are not matured enough for CFA.

10 June 2014 then can you recommend me with some other good courses that will help even if i want to practice on my own or go for jobs ensuring good learning and pay package?

11 June 2014 i would suggest CISA or IFRS course for an audit side practice.
