If i book order for short selling , upto what time i need to square up(Purchase) ???

NORMALLY THEY (BROKERS) GIVE U TIME FOR THE T+1 (NEXT DAY),,,,MOST PROBABLY EARLY HOURS OF TRADING
OR ELSE
ON T+2 THEY THEMSELVES DO THE PURCHASE (REQUIRED ) INSPITE OF LOSS OR GAIN IN UR PORTFOLIO

what is rule as per SEBI???

The transaction has to be squarred off on the same day. If the transaction is not sq. off by 3:00, the broker would himself sq it off. If no deal happens in shares, then the buy call has to be auctioned.
