03 December 2010 If i book order for short selling , upto what time i need to square up(Purchase) ???

NORMALLY THEY (BROKERS) GIVE U TIME FOR THE T+1 (NEXT DAY),,,,MOST PROBABLY EARLY HOURS OF TRADING


OR ELSE

ON T+2 THEY THEMSELVES DO THE PURCHASE (REQUIRED ) INSPITE OF LOSS OR GAIN IN UR PORTFOLIO

19 December 2010 The transaction has to be squarred off on the same day. If the transaction is not sq. off by 3:00, the broker would himself sq it off. If no deal happens in shares, then the buy call has to be auctioned.
