Shopkeer is not willing to pay gst

This query is : Resolved

Quick Summary
If you return a purchased item, you should be entitled to a refund of the Goods and Services Tax (GST) paid. The shopkeeper can adjust this by issuing a credit note against their next sale, rather than keeping the GST amount. The seller's refusal to refund the GST is incorrect, and they should consult a tax advisor for clarification.

i have purchase machine worth 20k and paid 28per gst on it.

is it the right process.
