24 June 2017 Is it mandatory to register a preschool under shops and establishments act in maharashtra? If not how to open current account in the name of firm ?

24 June 2017 If pre school is proprietorship you need two proof in the name of the proprietorship to open the bank account. You can approach shops and establishment department and get a registration. Fees are generally based on number of employees. The second proof can be registration in any government department. You can take a professional tax registration if your employees will draw more than the exemption limit of professional tax. You can give both documents to the bank to open the account as well as proprietors PAN, AADHAR etc.
