02 May 2016 Please help regarding procedure of shifting of factory to a new place. how raw materials, wip, and fg will be transferred and their embedded cenvat . Please clarify rulings in the case

02 May 2016 you have to apply new number for new place after that you have to make billingt to new address for all goods.

02 May 2016 thanks for reply sir please clarify would it be same for raw material and fg and how the work in progress will be transferred and what for raw materials for which we have already utilised can at credit

03 May 2016 First you need to take new registration for new premises then transfer the all inputs, capital goods and semifinished goods at new premises with duty paid, finished goods you need to sale from old premises. after transfer all duty and liability you can surrender the old premises registration.

05 May 2016 for raw material , CWIP and finished goods you have to valuaiton for that at cost, and make billing & charge excise duty on that. first you set off the liability with cenvat bal. and after that with PLA.
