We have to pay share transfer stamp duty. The consideration amount is too large. I want to know the denomination of share transfer stamps ???

04 November 2011 Stamp Duty on share transfer stamp is same all over India irrespecive of the state in which registered office of the company is. It is 0.25% of the consideration (not face value) of the share transfered. You pl buy required amount of SHARE TRANSFER STAMP and affix on the placed marked in the back of transfer deed and cancell that by crossing or putting a line across it.
