AN ASSESSEE DERIVES INCOME FROM SHARE TRADING (EXCLUDING SPECULATION). WILL THE INCOME BE TREATED AS CAPITAL GAIN OR BUSINESS INCOME? HE ALSO HAS OTHER SOURCES OF INCOME FROM BANK INTERESTS.

It depends on the volume of trading. If the volume of transactions is very high like on daily basis, it may be treated as business income else it should be taxed under the head Capital Gains
