10 September 2014 i need urgent help fromtexperts for my probleo... my Father has shares of Voltas company Purchased around 30years Back. and has not Demated them till now as the original hard copy of same is lost. but the dividend of the same is received Regularly in his name. how can i sell them??? i need urgent help. v r in need of money.

11 September 2014 Dear Kshama, easiest way is to contact investors relation department of the company whose share certificate is lost.They will guide you. mostly they will ask you to submit an indeminity or undertaking. dont worrry the problem will get resolve easily. In case if u have bank statement which shows the entry for payment related to purchase of shares you can submit them to IR dept along with request.
Keep everything in writing.
