27 June 2012 We have purchased 100 Eq. Shares of A Ltd. from B Ltd.'B' Ltd. raised the bill on date 24-11-2011 and share transfer date is 29-11-2011. In which date we can do the entry in our books of a/cs.

28 June 2012 Date of agreement is the date of Purchase unless there is a precondition clause that the completion of purhcase will be only after physical delivery.

In normal share transactions on stock exchange, if we look form Seller's perspective, the price risk is already transferred to Purchaser. Thus if the price of shares go up or down after 24/11, they will be the purchaser.

Thus important element is transfer of risk and rewards in such a case.
