Entry's in tally can be passed. But my personal suggestion would be if u are a Day trader is to maintain in Excel Sheet.
u can make the same columns as in ur Contract not and can arrive at the Buying and the selling profit.
An extra column of Net profit (sale - Purchase Price) too can be inserted.
Some of the columns will be 1) Date of Purchase 2) script name 3) Qty 4) Purchase price per share 5) Total Purchase value 6) Brokerage 7) STT 8) Stamp Duty 9) Gross Purchase price
