Pls clarify in case of transfer of all shares held by a member in pvt co to third person(relative of member) whether the same share certificate of transferor with same folio and certificate no will be issued to the transferee with name of transferee endorsed on the back or a new share certificate in the name of transferee with new certf no and folio no is to be issued ???

27 February 2014 The same share certificate should be endorsed. The name and folio no of the transferee along with other details are to be mentioned at the back.

27 February 2014 thanks sir for your reply.. means share certificate no. remain the same.. and new ledger folio will be given to the transferee and his name to be mentioned on the back???

and the name of the transferor continues to be on the face of the certificate even after transfer ??

27 February 2014 Share certificate number will remain the same and the face of the share certificate will reflect the name of original allotee. If the transferee is already a member of the Company, you have to give his existing folio number. If the transferee is a new member, you should allot him a new folio number.
