Hi,
Please guide me on how much service tax i have to pay on the bill raised by transporter, is it 25% of the service or 75% of service, i am not clear on the same.
Please make me understand the concept and accounting entries too....

Now abatement rate is changed. Earlier it was 75% abatement, From 1st april, 2015. Abatement reduced to 70%. Now you required to pay service tax on 30% of value of service.
