26 April 2013 If name of the service tax payer(company) is change & by mistake both name is registered under same Service tax Registration Code.

What is the solution for the problem?

if old name is to be surrendered than what if the user id details are lost?

26 April 2013 Well in that case the only remedy available is to surrender old name and service tax number.

In case user id is lost kindly provide them with a letter with the fact and submission of service tax number and name.
[ However your application shall only be entertained if you have complied with service tax payment and return filing requirement till date ]
