26 November 2012 SIR I HAVE TAKEN REGISTRATION OF SERVICE TAX 1.5 year before filling return properly AND st-2 was issued to me accordingly online without sign by ac/dc...they have not yet demanded any document.

but now i have to open my current account in bank therefore they are demanding st-2 copy....will they be satisfied with unsigned copy of st-2.

27 November 2012 Yes,but if the bank people still insists for the signed copy then you just visit your jurisdictional divisional office and get it signed.

There is no penalty in act for not getting copy of ST-2 signed.
