My freind provide coaching classes to commerce (B-com.) students.
is it compulsory to pay service tax on this service? pls reply...

If he coaching classess gross receipt in particular year cross Rs. 900000 then he has to go for registration

If the turnover is above 10 lakhs then he has to collect and pay service tax on coaching classes
