Dear all,
We have received a bill from one of my vendor for providing the Consultancy charges & he is not charged any service tax.
In this regard
1) What is my liability if I process the payment without Service Tax( Explanation required with supporting points)
2) Should I insist vendor for new invoice
3) What would be the Service Tax Amount
4) Anycourse of action.

What type of consultancy has been provided by the vendor?

Only in case of service received from Advocates, you are liable to service tax. So you need not worry. Collection of service Tax is liablity of service provider not receiver.

Our's is educational field & client has been given brokerage services for buuilding construction...
clarify in this regard liabilty for service tax..
I came to know he not even registred for service tax.
