Service tax input is not taken from April to September 2010 and filed ST-3.

My query is can we take that into consideration for filing of ST-3 from Ocotber to March 2011

Pls clarify

16 December 2010 There is no time limit for taking ST crdit. you can take credit in Oct-March also.

16 December 2010 is there any issue that we have not shown closing balance of input in erlier ST-3.

now input of April to Sep hoe to include in Currecnt St-3

16 December 2010 Input need to be taken only on payment made to the service provider. So if payment made is after september, there won't be any issue. If otherwise, the total payment is booked as expense, the Cenvat portion can be transferred to credit. there won't be any issue in this regard.
