Dear Sir,
For a newly established properitery firm(which is rendering labour service),which certificates are compulsory. As per my knowledge its registration certificate,service tax registration(after turnover exceeds Rs.8 lacs).Any else certi. is required.
And whether electricity bill and municipal taxes of properitor's own house can be claimed as expense.
And whether TAN number is required for this firm.

yes u r correct u have to register under the service tax but after 9 lacs.
other than that u have to comply with the provisions of ESI & PF Act also.
U can not claim ur personal exps as the exps of ur firm both r separate entity.

Dear Sir,
Thanks for responding to my query. Actually I want to know that if we are using table space of house for office use then can we claim such expense or not. If yes then how much we can claim.
