we have a manufacturing unit in Bangalore and one warehouse in Chennai due to insufficient storage place we have purchased one more warehouse in Chennai on rented basis which is around 3 km from first warehouse . so my query is whether we require separate Excise number for that and can we do billing from same premises that is our first warehouse

you have to make addition on place in earlier regd. number, if excise deptt make permission, then its ok.otherwise you have to take separate regd number for second warehouse.
