Sell of house & treatment of sec 24(b)

I sold the house on which i am paying interest in year Sep 2011. Possesion of this i have taken on May 2009.I need to know weather i can claim deduction of interest u/s 24(b) for FY 2011-12.

U can claim interest upto the date of transfer of the house.
