Dear Sir,
We are manufacturer export, we need to stuff container for export under self sealing, for stuffing container we required stuffing permission in case of self sealing.

Now most of the exports are through containers. Goods can be stuffed in containers at Inland Container Depots situated in various places. Stuffing of containers inside the factory, under supervision of central excise officers is also permissible. Pre-shipment quality inspection, where required , should be carried out before stuffing. After such sealing, the containers are not normally opened at the port, unless the seal is found to be tapered with or there is specific intelligence, in which case, permission of AC/DC is required before checking- reiterated in MF(DR) circular No. 1/2006-Cus dated 2.1.2014.
