Section 80 ccd(1b) for investment in nps

The Union Budget-2015-16 has offered deduction under Section 80CCD (1B) of Rs.50,000, towards investment in New Pension Scheme.
Query is raised as to whether this deduction is available to individuals who make contributions in NPS Account directly.
Will be glad to receive the clarification.

It is better you do not invest in NPS. Just go through and you will know the reason.
