How to verify whether the cheque issued is account payee or cross cheque by the bank statement?(In respect of Section 40A(3))

09 February 2010 You have to see the bank statement. You will be able to make out the difference between the two. If cleared through cash you are supposed to get "cash-chq-party name" or in the like format
