Kindly let me know, whether the transaction value is brokerage charged to the client or the volume of business done by the client while getting approval from R D u/s 297 and for the exemtion limit of 5000 for th F.Y pl clarify

29 July 2009 For purpose of 297, the limit of 5000 is on cost of that goods or services hence check whether in calculating the cost brokerage is also included.
