Is it necessary for a section 25 company to obtain registration under The Bombay Public Trusts Act?

A Non Governmental Organization is perceived to be an association of persons or a body of individuals. An association of persons with non-profit motive may be registered under any of the following Indian Acts:
1. As a Charitable Trust
2. As a Society registered under the Societies Registration Act
3. As a Company licensed under section 25 of the Companies Act
If it is in the form of Trust, then it should be registered with the Relevant State Trust Act or Bombay Public Trust Act,and if it is registered as Sec 25 Company then there is no need to register with the Bombay Public Trust Act.
