Pls advice

1)If Company have paid General insurance behalf of employees then employees have claim Insurance Premium in Income tax 80D

2) If employer PF Contribution can be Claim employees Sec.80CCD

General Insu. paid by employer can not be claimed u/s 80D by employee.

Even employer PF contr. is not available u/s 80CCD.

31 January 2014 The Premium on mediclaim policy of employee is deductible u/s 80D.

but mediclaim policy premium paid employer not employee but insurance company have issue Certificate employee name

u/s 80D for group employee scheme you can get benefit if cert of payment is issued by insurance co.
