Despite holding for more than 12M, indexation benefit cant be claimed on debtenture, bonds etc
But can indexation benefit be claimed on units of debt oriented funds (where debt allocation is 80~100%) issued by Mututal Funds

yes, it can be availed as these are units of mutual fund.
