My client case selected for scrutiny. return was filed u/s 44AD. AO Wants to know the source of cash deposited in bank. but client didn`t maintained the book of account bcz he filed return u/s 44AD. what I do plz suggest me.

please confirm fisrt whether turnover in 44AD IS more or less than cash deposited in the bank.
even if books not maintained, assessee atleast roughfly tell you the source of cash.
So it will be easy for you to handle it.
