If the ITO has imposed penlaty under above section and client has go to CIT appeal and CIT has givin discion in favour of client.
however during appeal client has paid some amount so on that amount from which data client is eligable to receive interest and at what percentage.

From the date of payment till the date of return by the department and the interest rate will be in between 1% to 1.5% per month depending the date of payment.
