What is the time limit for issuing notices u/s 142(1) and u/s 143(2) for the Assessment

Notice u/s 143(2) can be given with in six months from the end of the relevant assessment year.
scrutiny notice for the assessment year 2009-10,could be given up to 30th September 2010.
