18 September 2011 A search and Seizure U/s.132(4) was carried out in which Gold and silver articles and some loose diamonds are siezed by Director of Investigation. The Last authorised search was executed on 16-5-2011.The Search Officer has not prepared Report and handed over seized articles to Assessing Officer on 16-5-2011
As per Section 132(9a) Investigation Officer has to handover siezed material within 60Days Now I want to know wheather Investigation Officer has power to get extention for the retention of sized material If yes than for how much days
If NO than what are the consquences if seized material is not handed over after 60Days
