I wanted to know what is the scope for a newly qualified Chartered Accountant in Investment Banking. Secondly, what post do the investment banks hire CA during placements. Is the experience that a CA gets when recruited during placements at par with the experience individuals get when graduating from abroad?

Armand i suggest you if your newly qualified than dont move in the investment banking because you will not get hardcore investment banking...truely speaking india dont have investment banking job... all are kpos and bpos and you will be waste your time
