Sweets for Rs.300/- given to sale party.
now can the entry be treated as sales pronmoion exp ? if not then on which head shall be treated

Such petty expenses on food & sweets can be debited to Staff welfare for practical purposes.
Or Park it in Misc Expenses grouped under Selling & Distribution cost.
