16 March 2008 I am working in a handtools manufacturing company which comes under the Engineering units heaading.

We purchase raw material from the domestic market and pay excise duty on it.

Now, can we want to sell some of our raw material as it is ( without any processing)in the domestic market.

Can we sell it.

Where can i find the related provisions in the Excise Act 1944.

16 March 2008 u can find related to cenvat credit in cenvat credit rules where credit on the raw material is to be reversed.
