hi Friends,
I have a query...
Can you please tell me if a person invest in a tax saving mutual fund with the 3 year locking period...after the end of 3 year he get profit on this mutual fun...
Is it taxable as LTCG ?
If not please provide me the refring section..

LTCG on equity oriented MF is tax free. ELSS fall under this category only and the LTCG is tax free
