SALE OF GOLD BEFORE BUDGET

Quick Summary
If you sell gold that you've held for more than three years before the budget, indexation is permitted. You should declare this in your Income Tax Return (ITR-2) under Tab B9 of Schedule CG. This allows for a more favourable capital gains calculation.
