02 November 2008 i want to know what should be the salary structure of an employee so that both the company and the employee gets maximum benefits

03 November 2008 It depends upon the salary itself and variou parameters like eligibility and policy of the company in giving the contributory benefits. It can not be answered in a blanket form.

03 November 2008 Normally basic salary wil keep low and other allowances wil be more based on their chargebility to tax.

for ex HRA wil be provided and you can get exemption for rent paid and can be adjusted in HRA.....so that you are getting exemption.....

but if you are not giving as HRA and included in ssalary you dont have any exemptions....

03 November 2008 Dear Neeraj, Companies are restructuring salaries to employee friendly & tax saving.But gross package have to be given,Basically reiumbersements & allowences are the part of tax saving.Give your figures,
