Can salaries be paid in cash

Total salaries for one was about to Rs 100000
for 25 employees

there is no issue involved in it

07 May 2013 but for each individual amount should not exceed Rs.20000/-

i.e in totality it can be more than Rs.20000/- but for single person it should not exceed Rs.20000/-

Suppose 6 employees each salary is Rs.18000/-

so total will be Rs.108000/-
for single person it is less than Rs.20000/-

so it can be paid in cash
