Hi friends if an individual (salaried employee) as submitted his return on 01-Sep-2012 for ay 12-13 can he revise his return

no, its belated return and can not be revised

No it cant be revised now as it is being filed after the due date

Thank you the situation is like this we use software called compu-tax for submitting returns which is totally on line on 1-sep-2012 the return was submitted later we came to know that there was ommission of one allowance compu-tax software has accepted the revised return will it be accepted or we should go for belated return ? If yes what is the procedure in on line

The return will not be accepted by ITD, though prepared by compu-tax.
