Dear all,
I filed my ITR for assessment year 2012-13 in Jun 2012 at local IT circle/ward.Can i file the revised ITR for the same assessment year.I have heard that it can not be done as i filed the ITR late ie in Jun 12.i am a salaried person with TDS.

Yes you can file as time limit is july 12 & not june for ay 2012-13.

For A.Y. 2012-13, You Can Revise the return.

It looks like you have filed return of income with in due date mentioned in Section 139(1) which is 31st July 2012.
So you can file revised return under section 139(5)with in one year from the end of relevant assessment year
