I HAD FILED INCOME TAC RETURN FOR A.Y. 2013-14 AS ON 05.08.2013 OF PARTNERSHIP FIRM . THE DEMAND HAS BEEN RAISED IN INTIMATION U/S 143(1) . MY QUESTION IS WTHER I SHOULD RECTIFIY THE RETURN OR REVISE THE RETURN AND IF RECTIFCATION IS REJCTED WETHER I CAN FILE REVISE RETURN AFTER REJECTION OF RECTIFICATION OF ITR

1. If you file the return belated (u/s 139(4)) you cant revise the return .
through income tax departmental web site you can rectify or revise the return (if filed in time)
Rectification can be done once the intimation received from CPC u/s 143(1)

There is tab termed "My account"
then select Rectification request"
fill the required fields and press submit .
(To revise )
Go to your original return and change the return filed mode to revised , then alter the required source or what ever may be . then as original return filed file your revised one .
