08 November 2017 We are registered in Rajasthan and receiving goods from various states on which freight is paid by us. The transporter are giving us GSTN number on there biltty of the state in which they are registered. Please let me know whether we have to pay CGST./ SGST or IGST.

09 November 2017 If the transporter and service receiver are in the same state CGST+SGST
If the transporter and service receiver are in different states IGST

09 November 2017 This means as we are to self invoice on our self. We have to place our self in the place of supplier what he would have made an invoice and what tax he would have charged if he had made the invoice please correct me if my understanding is wrong

09 November 2017 If the transporter is registered and charged GST in his invoice, you need not to pay RCM. Otherwise you need to pay RCM. No need of any invoice to be created for paying RCM for transporters issuing invoice.
